Crime
Ever since I moved to the "big" city (it's all relative) my parents have worried about crime. I have always, always felt safe and secure in all areas of Montréal. I walk and bike everywhere at anytime of the day or night. The thing is....there are always lots of people around. The city never feels deserted or creepy. So yesterday my Mom calls me to tell me that two elderly people were murdered on this tranquil suburban street where my parents lived...in this sleepy little community in the middle of nowhere. So there you go. Human beings can snap anywhere. It doesn't matter where you are.
